Pioneer Stadium

Friday night football games at Pioneer stadium are always the talk of this little town. 3,000 screaming fans fill the stands to watch our boys demolish the opponent. Before kickoff, the spirit line forms with students and young kids who all love to touch the hands of the Pioneers. Slowly, the smoke stars to emerge from the inflated pioneer man. As balloons are lifted into the air, the boys break through and walk out two-by-two. They make their way on to the field.
You can feel the intense, cold atmosphere all around you. Everybody is wearing big coats, hats, scarves, and gloves just to keep warm. You can see your breath when you talk. But, nothing is going to stop these fans from watching our pioneers. They're like crazy animals when the boys score a touchdown. The smell of Hot Chocolate and Popcorn fills the air. The loud music booms through the Jumbo-Tron to get everyone pumped up. You can hear the band playing and cheerleaders cheering at almost all times. Everybody holds their breath and cheers for the "Boys of Fall."
